The Greater Akron Chamber provides membership benefits with a focus on regional economic development.
Serving Medina, Portage, and Summit counties the Greater Akron Chamber features membership diversity including global manufacturers, universities, local small businesses, non-profit organizations, and more. Your company's growth and success is as important to us as it is to you. Together, we will build an even stronger Greater Akron Region.
All of our partners – economic development organizations, our members, and the community at-large throughout Greater Akron and Northeast Ohio – play vital roles in ensuring the sustainable economic growth of our region. Our achievements to that end are published in the Greater Akron Chamber's Annual Report to the Community. Click here to view a PDF of last year's annual report. The Chamber traces its roots to the Akron Chamber of Commerce charted in 1907, the Area Development Committee (1954), Area Progress Board (1968) and the Akron Regional Development Board (ARDB) charted in 1975.
Names have changed, but since 1907, the Chamber has been a driving force in the continual improvement of our economy while providing valuable services to our members and community.
