Green—Green Mayor Dick Norton said he was optimistic about the city’s future, while recounting past accomplishments during his time in office, as he delivered his final State of the City address to more than 200 people Wednesday night at Raintree Country Club.

“In the past seven years, we have built a road map of success. We have prospered amidst a period of recession. We have progressed to a young, vibrant city. And we have built on this promise,” said Norton, who will retire when his term concludes at the end of the year.

He told the audience of guidelines his administration developed, starting with fiscal responsibility, to create a city with strong values.  For more information, click here.
