The vitality of the Greater Akron Region is dependent on the vision and collaboration of our local elected officials. Each year, the Greater Akron Chamber recognizes one local elected official in Medina, Summit and Portage Counties for their commitment to economic development and community improvement.
The Greater Akron Chamber is seeking nominations of elected officials from members to be recognized in 2010. All local elected officials who represent Medina, Summit or Portage Counties are eligible for nomination including county commissioners, mayors, city council members, state representatives etc.

The 2010 honorees will be recognized at the 7th Annual Local Elected Officials Recognition Luncheon on Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Fairlawn Country Club.
