The Northeast Ohio Directory of Education, Training, and Employment Services, is a product of a partnership of the Northeast Ohio Workforce Initiative, the Jobs and Workforce Initiative - Greater Cleveland Growth Association; the Greater Akron Chamber; the Workforce Institute of Lorain County; and Lake County Economic Development.

Akron Machining Institute
The Akron Machining Institute is a non-profit training facility owned and operated by over 100 local manufacturing companies that trains students for entry-level skilled positions in Machining/CNC, Plastics Mold Design, and Machine Tool Maintenance and Repair.

FirstEnergy's Power Systems Institute in partnership with Stark State College of Technology and Lakeland Community College offers a two-year Accredited Associate of Technical Studies Degree with a focus on Electric Utility Technology.
