Purpose of the SBC
The Small Business Council (SBC) promotes and represents the interests of businesses with 250 or fewer employees within Medina, Portage and Summit Counties. The business leader members of the SBC provide oversight and strategic counsel relative to the recognition events, affinity programs, membership and advocacy work led by the Greater Akron Chamber in support of the Chamber’s mission to drive economic development and prosperity for the people of the Greater Akron Region.
