Q. What is the Young Professionals Network?
A. The Greater Akron Chamber’s Young Professionals Network (YPN) is a personal and professional development program that encourages YP’s to take ownership in the community and gives opportunities to grow so they are inspired to lead with enthusiasm, determination and passion. YPN is an outlet for the next generation of leaders to channel their energy and enhance their potential so they may reach their life goals in this community.

Q. Why is the Greater Akron Chamber re-launching this program?
A. The Greater Akron Chamber is committed to making an impact on the retention and attraction of talent in the greater Akron area. We believe that by connecting our region’s YPs to each other and to our community, we will be better able to accomplish that goal. The mission of the YPN is to attract and retain talent to the Greater Akron region by connecting the next generation of leaders to each other and to the community.

Q. Who is eligible to join YPN?
A. All are welcome and encouraged to join the YPN! Please fill out the membership application linked below and e-mail to presutti@greaterakronchamber.org.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. Since we are re-launching the YPN, the membership fee is waived in 2011! We will reinstate the annual fee of $50 in 2012. The membership fee was created so that the YPN can continue to offer valuable, fun and unique opportunities for YP’s. YPN was created for YOU so don’t wait to take advantage of the many benefits.
