Greater Akron Chamber Presents The Morning Buzz on Friday, January 11, 2019

Greater Akron—The Morning Buzz is a monthly speaker breakfast series, which aims to connect small- and medium-sized businesses by facilitating the exchange of ideas and strategies for business growth and success.  On Friday, January 11, 2019, join us to hear Steve Millard, President & CEO of the Greater Akron Chamber.
 
Since June 2018, Steve Millard has served as the President & CEO of the Greater Akron Chamber.  In this role, Steve has been working with community partners to develop Elevate Akron, a collaborative economic development strategic plan for Akron.  He has also focused on gathering input from members, stakeholders and leaders to create a Blueprint for the chamber’s work moving forward. Join us to hear Steve discuss how the Blueprint and Elevate Akron plan will benefit businesses of all sizes throughout the region.
 
Prior to joining the Greater Akron Chamber, Steve has served as Executive Vice President of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, President and Executive Director of COSE (the Council of Smaller Enterprises), as well as a supply chain management consultant with Accenture and as a supply chain specialist with GE Healthcare.
 
Steve is a certified chamber executive, serves on several not for profit and for profit boards and is a frequent adviser to businesses and a regular facilitator for strategic planning and leadership team retreats.
 
The Morning Buzz will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Akron, 1307 E. Market St., Akron, Ohio 44305.  Business connections, registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m., and the program will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.  The cost is $25 for members, $50 for non-members and includes a breakfast buffet.  To make a reservation, call the Greater Akron Chamber at (330) 376-5550 or register on-line at www.greaterakronchamber.org.
