Emerge Counseling Adds More Statewide Tele-Counseling Options

4/15/2020

Amidst the current challenges of Covid-19, many people are experiencing anxieties and concerns due to the resultant economic and stay-at-home restrictions impact. In response to this need, Emerge Counseling has significantly increased its tele-counseling services. Currently, anyone in the state of Ohio could receive counseling support from one of Emerge Counseling’s 35+ licensed clinicians and, in many cases, that assistance would be covered by their insurance.

Emerge Counseling is a faith-based counseling center that provides outpatient mental health services, both in-office and online via tele-counseling.  With the main campus located at 900 Mull Avenue in Akron, Ohio, there are several satellite offices throughout Ohio and a new location opening in Pennsylvania in Summer 2020. Additional resources including articles, books, and podcasts can be found at emerge.org and the offices can be reached at 800-621-5207.
